I love the splits because there is always somewhere else to go. Like all yoga poses there is never an end point or a fixed point . Showing us how yoga is a journey and one of constant adaption and change. The same as our lives . Everyday we learn. Everyday we grow. Everyday we allow ourselves to adapt to the changes of our internal and external world. Everyday we change and continue on our own journey and by practicing asanas like the splits I am reminded everyday that we can choose to let go of where we feel we need to be going or where we thought we should have gone and instead enjoy the process and journey of where we are today.
