My name is Kelly. 

 

What I share in my work today is from what I have developed through my own self practice and practices I have learnt from very inspiring teachers along my journey so far. 

 

 I believe we are forever students, always learning and growing. I am a fully qualified Meditation , Mindfulness and Yoga Teacher .

 

I currently am also training to become a Yoga Therapists 580 hour diploma * Level 7 with with The Minded Institute and leading expert in the field Heather Mason. to become a yoga therapist with a key interest on working with individuals with specialist physical and mental health conditions. Specifically working with individuals learning to manage Grief, Depression, Anxiety, CFS, Fatigue, Autoimmune Disorders and Stress.

 

Within the teachings I share I aim to support you to build a personalised toolbox of Mindful management techniques that you can use in your everyday life.

 

I have a down to earth manner and style to my teachings and understand the need to translate mindfulness techniques and yoga practices in a way that can be useful to everyday life to help you truly flourish and shine your light.

As a Yoga Teacher and Trainee Yoga Therapist I work specifically in helping support clients with their physical and mental health issues. 
If you are interested in a one to tone with one session with me please do not hesitate to get in touch and we can discuss whether this would be a best option for you.
I  charge the following for a one to one : 

In person / Online 
60 minutes = £50 per person

for a block of 6 sessions = £250

Weekend Retreats 2022

Fair Oaks Farm Springtime Retreat  Farm

13th-16th May 2022

This stunning county estate in the middle of the Sussex countryside has the most stunning and luxurious array of accommodation for you to choose from. All set in 12 acres of wonderful gardens being home to the resident alpacas and peacock. Three nights inclusive - accommodation, meals, yoga, meditation, workshops, movie night, games room and optional indulgent therapies (additional charge), not forgetting truly amazing food. This is what Spring is all about!

Bore Place Ultimate Autumnal Retreat
November 11th-13th 2022 

This retreat will be full of nurturing and self-love to reset, recharge and rejuvenate your body and mind. The morning Vinyasa classes will be warming and invigorating. The food nutritional and delicious. Evening yoga relaxing and restoring. Walks to reconnect with nature and blissful, nurturing treatments available too. The yoga classes will be led by Jayne Harman and Kelly Jarvis.

Kelly is bringing this one day Retreat to you In Lewes at the Unity Centre on Saturday the 21st of May 11-5pm.

 

We will be exploring the Theme : Embrace it all. You will be invited to Practice a variety of ways to Embrace your true self. Your true wholeness. 

On this retreat day will explore elements of Yoga including : Meditation, Mantra, Movement (Asana Practice) and Chanting. We will have discussions and Journaling opportunities. We will Sing , Dance , Laugh , Let go and move in an intuitive and embodied way. 

 

The Days Schedule 

11-1 - Opening Circle & Yoga Practice.

1-2:30 Lunch 

2-2:30 - Discussion & Journaling

2:30-3:30 Mantra, Singing , Dancing.

3:30-4:30 - Restorative Yoga , Yoga Nidra & Meditation. 

4:30-5pm Closing Circle

 

All you need to bring is some lunch or there are shops/ cafes right next door to the studio. You will have 75 minutes for lunch so plenty of time to go to a café or a store to get some food or bring some packed lunch with you . totally up to you .

Weekend Teens Workshop with Kelly Jarvis

Saturday 29th January - 2.30pm to 4pm

£20 per person.

The Yoga Garden - The Yurt

We welcome your Teens to join in this fantastic opportunity with Kelly.

Kelly will provide an opportunity for teens to connect; both with others and themselves.

During this 90-minute workshop, your teen will explore various themes through different mindfulness, meditation and Yoga practices. They will also be given time for self-reflection and expression through creative writing and journaling.

Kelly will make your teen feel comfortable and safe to share, explore and express themselves.

She will be offering empowering Yoga postures and Mindfulness life Coaching techniques to provide support in our ever-changing times.

“Love Yourself Entirely” A Valentines Self love workshop

The Yoga Shed - Hitchin

This Valentine’s we will dedicate time to loving ourselves. Choose yourself and go deeper within your own heart. Within this nurturing workshop you will be guided gently through an exploration and a freeing of the heart space. 

We will delve into the energy at the heart centre through a variety of different practices such as a slow, gentle yoga flow, guided meditation, Pranayama techniques, heart opening restorative postures, self love Mantras and deep rest and relaxation.

Within this workshop you will also have the opportunity to share, discuss and explore therapeutic practices that we can implement into our daily lives to cultivate more self-love and kindness towards ourselves thus then warmly and openly passing this love and compassion on to others.

In-Studio and via Zoom  for all abilities

Get cozy, surrender to simply being and embody growing into the person you dream to be. Get ready for transformational changes and positive shifts as you open your heart and bloom. Shine bright and rejuvenate as you choose yourself, to love, grow and to be loved.

In this workshop you can expect to be guided through both relaxing and empowering Meditations, Pranayama, Chanting, gentle movements, gently held Yin yoga poses, restorative postures and Savasana to help you release, expand, unwind, & relax.

The Asanas will include a theme of twists to signify the opportunity to look at our lives with new and fresh perspectives. When we twist we are facing one way and looking another and so we can start a journey into looking in a new direction.

 

A new path in our lives…

Twists also massage the organs and promote detoxification, aiding a spring clean!

Within this workshop, you will also have the opportunity to share, discuss and explore practices that we can implement into our daily lives to manifest our dreams and embody our true being.

We have blankets and bolsters available but please bring cushions and anything else you wish to aid your comfort.

Herbal refreshments will be provided.

I highly recommend 'Beginners Yoga' sessions. Kelly is an amazing teacher. Her instructions are clear and precise and if you struggle with any poses, Kelly will go above and beyond to help you master them. Each week you re-visit positions but also practice new ones to push yourself further in your development of Yoga practice.Not only do I feel like I have had a physical work out but also I feel relaxed. This is due to the meditation session near the end of the class.I definitely recommend Kelly.

I have taken part in several of Kelly's meditation sessions now in the midst of studying for my Masters degree and I can't comprehend how helpful they have been ! Understandably we all go through our own stresses in life, and for me I never knew a bit of mindfulness was what I needed at this point in time. Since I am a perfectionist with my uni work, I have certainly found it difficult in allowing myself the time to focus on myself, since to me my work is never perfect, and thus, I am never at ease with what I have achieved at the end of the day. However, in doing so, in allowing myself that time, I have benefited so much in terms of calming my senses, in allowing me to acknowledge my thoughts simply as thoughts, and this has created a vibe that is just simply much more positive. I am more focused as a result and feel a lot more at ease when I am done with my working day. Thank you. I look forward to the next one.

I have had a spiritual practice for over 10 years, I have known Kelly for about a year and she is without doubt one if not the best teachers I have known. Kelly has the ability to put you at ease and make you simply be yourself. I have attended many courses over the years where it felt like being at school, that atmosphere does not work for me. The most recent course by Kelly I attended was the Pranayama and Meditation which also included Mantra, 3 things I love but have limited knowledge of. The atmosphere Kelly creates with no judgement, no right or wrong had no worries expressing myself on each of the topics which in turn helped me learn so much more. Some practices I was familiar with but struggled with a home practice, since doing the course all have become much more of my daily routine.

I have no hesitation in giving the highest recommendation to Kelly, wether it be a course or a yoga lesson, I only wish had met Kelly 10 years ago when starting this wonderful journey.
